铁性氧化物界面应变耦合诱导极化拓扑结构

    结合像差校正透射电子显微术和精密脉冲激光沉积,本文探索研究了生长在GdScO3衬底上的多层铁电PbTiO3/SrTiO3薄膜中应变调控诱导的90º铁弹畴组态。衍衬分析表明薄膜中存在“鱼骨”状90º畴组态。像差校正HAADF-STEM成像研究发现这些特殊90º畴通过中间超薄全共格SrTiO3层传递弹性应变耦合,在中间SrTiO3层和邻近PbTiO3层中形成巨大的长程非均匀周期性弹性应变分布,从而在相邻PbTiO3层中诱导形成了极化涡旋畴和极化涡旋-反涡旋对极化拓扑结构。

Strain mediated topological polarization structures in ferroic films with coherent interface

Abstract   By a combination of aberration-corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy and pulsed laser deposition, strain mediated 90° domains in PbTiO3/SrTiO3 multilayer films grown on GdScO3 substrates were studied. Diffraction contrast analysis suggests that special 90° domain configurations formed in the tensile strained PbTiO3/SrTiO3 multilayer films. By quantitatively mapping the internal strain and off-centre cation displacements, a fully coherent PbTiO3/SrTiO3 multilayer structure was confirmed here. In particular, vortex and vortex-antivortex polar topologies were identified, accompanied with unusual disclination strains across the whole PbTiO3/SrTiO3 multilayer structure, which exhibits periodic, long-range elastic strain distributions.
